Every year NYUAD participates in the annual iGEM International Synthetic Biology Competition which is an event in which students create solutions to some of the world's most pressing synthetic biology-related world issues. In 2020 I was recruited as the Creative Head of the project leaving me responsible for conceptualizing and creating this year's team branding, logo, website design, videos and interactive poster. The project was conducted for nearly a year during the COVID-19 pandemic, remotely, and in a team with up to 10 others.
